We founded Sightglass with the mission to bring greater transparency, trust, and efficiency to the private markets through AI-powered tooling. We just wrapped our first full year in the market after onboarding our first customers in January 2025 – and what a year it’s been!  

Looking back at 2025 and towards 2026!


In 2025, we were proud to support IR teams at firms ranging from emerging venture managers to decades-old private equity firms with $10bn+ in AUM. We greatly appreciate and value the trust our customers and their LPs have placed in Sightglass, knowing Investor Relations teams handle the most sensitive information and relationships at an investment firm. Our customers raised billions of dollars last year and saved 10,000+ working hours, leveraging our smart data rooms and AI-powered DDQ responses. And more than 700 LPs leveraged Sightglass as part of their diligence process. 


As we kick off 2026, we’re excited to double down on what resonated most with our customers in 2025: a laser focus on AI-enablement in the private markets.  We believe that software purposefully built for IR teams is a more powerful source of leverage for teams and creates a valuable ecosystem for both LPs and GPs.

Here are some of our product wins in 2025 when building for the LP-GP ecosystem, and a sneak peak for what’s coming in 2026.


DDQs: Our AI-enablement is only accelerating in 2026, with more administrative work like question assignments handled before you ever touch the DDQ.

We upgraded our core DDQ workflow to be more flexible with larger teams. With real time collaboration, we enabled teams to move faster as they worked on DDQs together.  We added an approval/review process, allowing teams to submit DDQs with confidence. 


Data rooms: In early 2026, we’ll be adding integrated subscription documents and fundraise process tracking.

With many firms fundraising in Q1 2026, building out our smart data room was a key focus for us in 2025. Sightglass data rooms enable LPs to find information they’re looking for with AI-powered search, saving hundreds of hours of back-and-forth spent in emails. Managers get detailed activity reports and weekly recaps, with integrated sub docs and fundraise tracking on the way to make our data rooms even more powerful.

While most of our customers craft DDQ responses on our platform, we know sometimes you just need a quick answer in an email – so we added a Chrome extension for easy access to your knowledge base.  In 2026, we’re adding new integrations that will better connect Sightglass with your other critical tools.
